The service allows the issuance of a certificate of origin according to the invoice or documents submitted by the concerned party, whether for goods of national origin or re-exported. It is an official and necessary document for determining customs duties.

Certificate of origin transactions are subject to scrutiny by the competent employee to ensure the accuracy of the data recorded in the invoice, and the Chamber has the right to request the documents it deems necessary to verify the accuracy of the data submitted to it.

1. Submit the application and required documents through the website or the Muamalat Center to clear transactions.
2. Pay the service fee.
3. Receive the certificate of origin and the certified export invoice.

• Commercial invoice:

  The business name on the company’s letterhead must match the chamber’s records including:

  invoice number

  Addressee details invoice date (name, country, city, PO box, phone and fax number)

  A description of the goods shipped, quantity, number of packages, unit price and total amount

  country of origin

  Means of transportation (land, sea and air)

  Company seal and signature (the seal must match the trade name)

  Direct shipping:

  bill of lading

  Source country invoices

  Certificate of origin for the source country

  Exemptions
  In the case of exemption from customs duties for Gulf Cooperation Council countries, a certificate of origin from the Ministry of Economy is required.

  Origin of the United Arab Emirates

  A copy of the industrial license required for goods manufactured in other emirates

  A copy of the factory invoice

  Export of vehicles

  A copy of the export certificate from the Roads and Transport Authority

  Chemicals

  No objection from civil defence

  Food stuff

  Certificate of fitness to export foodstuffs

  Pharmaceutical goods

  There is no objection from the Ministry of Health

  Goods in transit

  Copy of transit data of custom textiles

  In case of exporting goods to European countries, the United States of America, Turkey and Poland
